Top 10 Producers 2020

Thank you to everyone who voted for making this by far the biggest Cotswold Eats Awards ever - more votes were submitted this year than 2018 & 2019 Awards combined! It was subsequently an incredibly competitive and close tally, so don't feel disheartened if you or your favourite producers missed out - there is always next year!

Now without further ado, let's reveal who you voted as the Top 10 Producers for 2020...

10. Jolly Nice

Jolly Nice are a farm shop in Frampton Mansell providing local and sustainably sourced produce, including their famous homemade ice cream and meat that can be traced back to the farmer. They also have a farm kitchen and coffee shop on-site, which has been adapted into a drive through during the pandemic.

9. Rave Coffee

Rave are coffee roasters in Cirencester, with quality, sustainability and staff satisfaction at the heart of what they do. As well as a range of beans and ground coffee, they also have Nespresso compatible pods that are compostable after use!

8. Cotswolds Distillery

Stourton, near Shipston-on-Stour

Cotswolds Distillery are based in Stourton in the North Cotswolds, crafting a range of high quality spirits - including gin, whisky and more. You can read about them in our article here.

7. Hobbs House Bakery

Hobbs House are a well established and much loved bakery in the South Cotswolds. Their bread and cakes are widely available within local shops across the Cotswolds, as well as within their own stores in Tetbury, Malmesbury, Nailsworth and Chipping Sodbury.

6. Fat Toni's

Fat Toni's Pizzeria serve up big pizzas with big flavour. Their signature large pizza is made from a whopping 20 inch sourdough base, finished with a choice of excellent toppings. You can read about them in our article here.

5. Born Wild Tea

Born Wild Tea are an independent business in Cheltenham, aiming to bring loose leaf tea culture to the UK. They produce a range of high quality and ethically sourced loose leaf tea blends, from 'bold breakfast' all the way to 'raspberry lemonade'.

4. Gilo's Mezze

Gilo's Mezze are a takeaway creating a mix of Middle Eastern and Western food on an open flame. Their signature Chicken Shawarma, Pulled Pork and Falafels are served in a homemade pita breads with all the trimmings. They also dish up breakfast muffins, salads and cheeseburgers!

3. Sourdough Revolution

Sourdough Revolution are an artisan bakery in Lechlade, crafting top quality sourdough bread and pizza. They are continuing their successful bread based uprising, placing in the Top 10 Producers once again!

2. Fire and Flow

Fire & Flow are a coffee roasters in Cheltenham, with a focus on ethically responsible coffee- including their signature Aurora blend.
